Apologies for the lack of a summer camp blog. The site had no mobile signal and there were no hotspots locally. Â Hopefully you kept an eye on our Storify page that we’ve just updated again. So look… if you ever doubt the ability of your kids to cook… you should check out what they can create when the odds are against them. We really stacked the deck against them with courgettes, cabbage, cucumber, instant mash, tinned beans and pulses and more  but still six patrols made six edible meals.
When they have proper ingredients they really fly.
Congrats to the Kingfishers who (amazingly to those of us who were supervising the cooking) made the tastiest meal for the judges.

Not many PLs but we still had fun
